Black Panthers : Is it your first trip to Europe or to France?
Alpha JALLOH : No. This is my second trip to Europe. However, it is my first Time ever to France. I always wanted to live in France.
F : Il s’agit de mon deuxième voyage en Europe. Cependant mon premier en France. J’ai toujours voulu vivre en France.
BP : What is your feeling about this first experience in football in France?
AJ : I am excited to play in France because I know I will be challenge with the competition of football here.
F : Je suis excité de jouer en France parce que je sais que ce sera un bon challenge avec le niveau de compétition ici.
BP : What do you know about American Football in France/Europe?
AJ: I know that the France Nation team has won the gold in the World Games in 2017
F : Je sais que l’équipe françcaise à gagné la médaille d’or aux World Games en 2017
BP : What do you know about the city of Thonon and the Black Panthers Football team?
AJ : I understand that The Black Panthers has world the EFL championship in 2017 and that the program is very professional and takes cares of their players.
F :Je sais que les Blacks ont gagné l’EFL en 2017 et que le programe est très professionnel et que l’on y prends bien soin des joueurs.
BP : For how many years did you play at University? How many years have you been playing football all together?
AJ : I have been playing the sport of American football since I was 8 turning 9. So, 15 years. I played 4 seasons of college football.
F : J’ai commencé à jouer au Football depuis que j’ai 8 ou 9 ans. Je dirais que ça fait une quinzaine d’année. J’ai aussi joué 4 ans à l’université Liberty.
BP : You’ve played other positions in addition to your position, can you tell us about that?
As addition to playing the safety position, I also play Wide receiver which I believes helps me be a better defensive back.
F : Je joue safety majoritairement, mais j’ai aussi joué receveur dans le passé et je crois que cela m’aide comme defensive back.
BP : Have you played any other sports beside football? Which ones?
Oui, I wrestled in High School and was an National Prep All American my senior year. Addition, I also ran track a few times.
F : Oui, j’ai fais de la lutte, j’ai même été All Américan mon année sénior au Lycée et aussi du track.
BP : What was the best moment of your career?
AJ : The best moments in my career is sharing all the championship moments with players besides which I call brothers.
F : Le meilleur moment de ma carrière était de célébré un championnat avec mes coéquipiers que je considère tous comme mes frères
BP : … The worst?
I am thankful for the ups and downs in this sport that taught me lessons which makes me who I am now.
F : J’apprécie les haut et les bas de ce sport qui m’ont enseignés des leçons et m’ont permis de devenir qui je suis aujourd’hui.
BP : What are your objectives for the upcoming season with the Black Panthers?
AJ: There are a few things I would love to accomplish with the Black Panthers. One of them is being winning every championship game this season. Two, winning every individual game this season. Lastly, putting my set on the defensive team goals Coach Max Dupay, has assigned for us on defense, while keeping my individual goals at task.
F : Il y a quelques choses que j’aimerais accomplir avec les Blacks Panthers. Je veux gagner tous les championnats cette saison. Je veux finir avec une saison sans défaites. Finalement, je veux me concentrer sur les buts défensifs que notre coordinateur défensif, Max Dupuy, a mit de l’avant pour nous, tout en gardant mes buts individuels dans la mire.
BP : Do you have a particular life philosophy?
AJ : I believe that everyone can control their attitude no matter the circumstance. A good attitude in American football in very significant and a strong contributor to playing well on the field. Moreover, attitude can be linked with passion, and passion a person with passion will always go a long way because the glow in person heart with passion is unstoppable. Lastly, I thank God for the athletic ability He has blessed me with and the desire in my heart that continues to burn to being great in this sport.
F : Je crois que chacun contrôle leur attitude peu importe les circonstances. Une bonne attitude au Football Américain est très importante et contribuera à la qualité de mon jeu sur le terrain. De plus, l’attitude d’un joueur est souvent liée à la passion que celui-ci a pour ce sport. Cette passion qui illumine le cœur d’un joueur le rendra impossible à arrêter. Dernièrement, je remercie dieu pour les qualités athlétiques qu’il m’a attribué er pour le désire dont il ma doté de bien performer dans le sport.
